UPCOMING EVENTS

Collaborative Multi-Layer 3D Display System

A new technology, Collaborative Multi-Layer 3D Display System, developed by Prof. Pradipta Biswas and his team (Mr. Himanshu, Mr. Bhavesh, and Mr. Gaurav) from the Department of Design and Manufacturing, Indian Institute of Science, was launched in the BEL Hall of Electronics Gallery (3rd Floor) at Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum on 13 March 2026, on the occasion of the Engineering Fair. This unique exhibit presents interactive content that allows multiple users to engage simultaneously. Unlike traditional screens, the system enables groups to view and explore content across four different facets without the need for special glasses. Designed to encourage teamwork and curiosity, it makes learning more engaging, discussions more interactive, and presentations more memorable. By combining advanced optical design with digital content, the display creates a shared platform where people can view and interact with information from different angles at the same time. This makes the system suitable for collaborative learning environments, museum exhibits, educational demonstrations, and professional applications where group interaction is essential.
